Monopile Manufacturer EEW SPC Receives the Fraunhofer IGP Innovation and Technology Award

This year, the Fraunhofer IGP’s in-house Innovation and Technology Award, known as the IGP Award, is being presented to EEW Special Pipe Constructions GmbH (EEW SPC). “Fraunhofer IGP and EEW SPC have maintained a close collaboration for many years, ranging from factory planning to welding technology. This award is intended to further recognize and honor this partnership,” explained Prof. Wilko Flügge, Director of Fraunhofer IGP. He personally presented the award on March 17, 2025, at the company’s location in Rostock’s overseas port. The award was accepted by Dr. Robert Staschko (Structural Engineer) and Andreas Dörge (Head of Welding Technology).
